NEIGHBORHOOD SHUTTLE SERVICE
PC's Neighborhood Shuttle provides FREE transportation to PC students from 6pm to 1am, Sunday-Thursday. On Friday and Saturday nights, the shuttle runs from 6pm to 2:30am. From 6-7pm the shuttle travels to Shaws (Sunday-Thursday) and Wal-Mart (Friday-Saturday). It then spends the rest of the evening looping through campus and off-campus housing areas. The shuttle departs from the rear of Raymond Hall at the top of the hour and on the half hour. It completes the route approximately every 20 minutes. Please don't walk unaccompanied at night, ride the shuttle! Please note: We request that students pick up the shuttle along its route. For more info, call x2940.

THE EAST SIDE SHUTTLE
Looking to get off campus and explore the great city you live in?? Ever wonder what else there is to do downtown? Hop on the East Side Shuttle and discover Providence this weekend! The Shuttle will make stops on Thayer St., Wickenden St., North and South Main St., and Federal Hill. Enjoy the many shops, restaurants and attractions Providence has to offer! The Shuttle will run on Friday and Saturday Nights. It will depart from the rear of Raymond Hall at the top of each hour between 6 and 11pm. Making it back to campus on the shuttle is the student's responsibility - please make plans accordingly.

City Year Volunteer Opportunity
The nonprofit organization City Year, is looking for team leaders to lead their youth in community service, activities and discussions for three Saturday's a month from January through May and for an overnight retreat in mid-December. This opportunity is with their Young Heroes Program which is a leadership development and service learning program for middle school youth in Providence and Kent County. City Year was founded upon the belief that young people can change the world. City Year is a nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a demanding year of full-time service. COLLEGE BOWL SIGN UPS (Now through March 13th)
The Annual Battle of the Brains Tournament (formerly known as College Bowl) at Providence College will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 starting at 12pm. Any team wishing to sign up for this campus-wide tournament must do so in the SAIL Office, Slavin 104 by Friday, March 13th by 4:30pm. There are forms in the SAIL Office that need to be filled out. Teams must consist of at least 3 players (4 is standard, 5 is acceptable with one member being an alternate). The first 24 Team Sign Up sheets that are completely filled out with team member names, year, CORRECT email, t shirt size, and phone number will be accepted. A waiting list will be started after receiving 24 completed forms. Each team will receive more information when you sign up. The format for the Battle of the Brains tournament will be identical to the format of College Bowl.
We are in desperate need for volunteers!
If you or your friends would like to volunteer, please sign up in the SAIL Office, Slavin 104 ASAP! All volunteers will be rewarded with a tournament t-shirt and free lunch!

JOURNEYS: CLASS OF 2009 RETREAT
You're invited to spend the weekend of February 28th-March 1st considering your journey--where you've been, where you're at, and where you want to go. Space is limited and reservations are required. Registration begins February 1st in the Chaplain's Office. Your $30 deposit will be refunded in full after your participation. Get into spring break shape! Looking for a fun and dynamic way to exercise? Join the aqua-fitness class. Deep water gym workouts are designed to work multiple muscle groups of the upper and lower body, which can result in greater cardiovascular output and excellent toning. Buoyancy belts and instruction provided. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 11:30AM at the Taylor Natatorium Pool. Space is limited.
