Due to the inclement weather experienced over this past weekend, there have been several changes to the SAVE Week schedule. Below, please find the updated SAVE Week schedule of events. We thank you for your continued support of this very important initiative and hope to see you at the events!

Tuesday, March 3

"Meet S.A.R.T."
11:30 am—1:00 pm Raymond Cafeteria
5:00 pm—7:00 pm Raymond Cafeteria

Take a few moments to meet with members of Providence College’s Sexual Assault Response Team (S.A.R.T.). Learn more about the services of this valuable College resource. Free giveaways!

“The Yellow Dress”
7:00pm Aquinas Lounge

A one-woman play that focuses on dating violence and sexual assault. The play is produced by Deanna’s Fund, an organization committed to promoting healthy relationships through educational programs. The performance will conclude with a general discussion, followed by refreshments.

Wednesday, March 4

"Take Back the Night"
7:00pm Slavin ‘64 Hall

Sponsored by Women Will
Open mic forum to allow those affected by sexual assault and relationship violence to come forward and share their experiences. Counselors will also be present at the forum and we encourage students to bring pillows and/or blankets for comfortable seating.

Thursday, March 5

“Backlash”
5:30pm McPhail’s

How did date rape shift from a “shockingly frequent…outrage,” as Newsweek once called it, to a controversy over “crying rape,” as New York magazine later labeled it? Come participate in the exploration of this question as we watch the documentary, Backlash. Documentary presentation will be followed by a guided conversation. Pizza will be served.
