[PC-12] Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR

LIFEGUARDING COURSE – PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

Upon successful completion of this Course, you will be certified in Lifeguard Training,
First Aid and CPR-AED.

Here are the prerequisites: (These prerequisites will be administered during the first hour. Those that do not complete them successfully will not be able to remain in the course)
 
1. Must be 15 Years old. (Instructor candidates must be 17 years old).
 
2. Swim 300 Meters continuously using crawl stroke and breaststroke.
 
3. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve 10-pound object, return to surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using ladders or steps, within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
 
This course will be held at Providence College.

Please bring suit, goggles, 2 towels, warm clothes (sweats), a lunch and plenty to drink.
 
COURSE #1 (3 dates only)
    April 17 5:30pm-8:30 pm
    April 18 7:30am-7pm
    April 19 7:30am-7pm (hours may be less depending on participants)

First come, first served.

Cost:
$275.00 for the full certification for Lifeguards (includes book)
$150.00 for recertification (must be currently certified ) (Does not include book unless you indicate you need one, $35.00 extra)
      
NOTE: THE BOOK IS NEW AS OF JANUARY 2008. IF YOU BOUGHT YOUR BOOK PRIOR TO THAT, YOU WILL NEED A NEW ONE
