Dear Student,
We are pleased to inform you about future changes in our billing process which will begin with the Spring 2010 semester. Starting this November, student bills will be sent electronically, rather than through the U.S. Postal Service.
Here is how the process will work:
• You will receive an e-mail from us via your Providence College e-mail address that your E-Bill is available for viewing.
• This e-mail will include a link to Cyberfriar, where you will be able to log in to view the bill, make a payment, and authorize others to view and pay your bill.
• If you would like your E-Bill sent to an additional user, you may designate one or more authorized users in Cyberfriar.
• You and those you authorize, such as your parents or a guardian, will be able to see the most recent activity on your account, including any student loan or scholarship payments and your most recent balance.
• Once you set up your authorized user(s), e-mails will be sent to both you and the authorized user(s) when your new bill is available for viewing.
IMPORTANT: In order to ensure a smooth transition, you must visit Cyberfriar to designate your authorized users. We will be sending you an e-mail in October, when you will be able to add authorized users, so please keep checking your PC e-mail.
If you have additional questions, please visit our e-payment FAQ page located at www.providence.edu/ebilling.
As we get closer to going live with this new system, we will be sending additional information.
Regards,
Office of the Bursar
