To all members of the college community:
The Information Technology Department has made McAfee VirusScan Enterprise available for download by all members of the college community. You can find the download at http://internal.providence.edu/downloads.html. This is the preferred method of acquiring this software as we will be discontinuing our use of CD’s for this purpose in an effort to save on waste.
You must uninstall any existing antivirus software before installing McAfee. You can do this through the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel in Windows XP or the Programs and Features Control Panel in Windows Vista.
