Members of the Providence College faculty will be performing in a special concert to celebrate Gallery Night on Thursday, September 17, 2009, 7:00 p.m., in the Ryan Concert Hall, Smith Center for the Arts. Reception to follow. The concert will feature Sang Woo Kang, piano, Alexey Shabalin, violin, Irina Tchantcheva, piano, Anne Gasper, flute, David Harper, piano, Troy Quinn, tenor, Eric Mazonson, piano, Christopher Kelton, saxophone, Allyssa Jones, jazz vocals, and Michael Kregler, jazz piano. Works by Rachmaninoff, Bartok, Hindemith, Bach, Richard Rodgers, and Reinecke will be performed.
The concert is free and open to the Providence College community and general public.
