The Balfour Center for Multicultural Affairs, Black Alumni Network and Women's Involvement Network are pleased to present Dr. Julia Jordan-Zachery, Director of the Black Studies Program and Assistant Professor of Political Science on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Her presentation will address the impact of the changing economy on families by looking at how it forces us to rethink the role of gender. She will review the implications for male joblessness, the notion of "Mr. Mom," and issues of increased pressure on foster homes.
