This Sunday, October 5th, at 8:00 pm, Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a homeless sleepout in honor of World Habitat Day. Please bring a blanket or sleeping bag and join us on Slavin Lawn to spend an evening in solidarity with the homeless while raising awareness about poverty housing and homelessness in America. Even if you are unable to spend the whole night, please join us on the lawn at 8:30 to hear a current Habitat homeowner’s personal experiences with these issues.
Additionally, applications for Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break trips are due on October 8th. For more information about the trips, or to download an application, please visit the Habitat for Humanity group on Angel, or e-mail either Alison Murphy (amurph10@providence.edu) or Sarah Bidinger (sbidinge@providence.edu).
