Dr. James Keating sends the following message to the entire Providence College Community:
"Please join us for the first lecture of this year’s Randall Professor of Christian Culture, Dr. Robert J. Kiely, on ‘Mary Magdalene and the Dignity of Woman,’ on Tuesday, October 7, at 4 P.M. in Moore Hall III.
Dr. Kiely comes to us from Harvard University and has published widely on the intersections of literature, art and Christianity. His intent in this lecture is to rescue Magdalene as an important disciple of Jesus from some of the stereotypes that have arisen in myth, tradition and popular culture."
