Around Providence

Friday 10/3

Farmers' Market Fridays. Greater Kennedy Plaza 11am-2pm. www.providenceri.com/ArtCultureTourism/this_week.php
Farmers' markets are one of the easiest places to find the tasty harvests of Rhode Island farms. Here on the sidewalk along Burnside Park, you'll find a diversity of foods fresh from the fields and meet the people who grow your meal. Plus, every dollar paid directly to a local grower is a dollar invested into Rhode Island communities.

www.blackrep.org
A handsome drifter. A lonely waitress. A cheap motel. But what's that crawling across the bed? Reality slowly blurs and suspense turns to horror, as this darkly comic thriller explores the line between conspiracy theory and actual conspiracy. A tale of love, paranoia, and the grip of government, Bug will get under your skin.

A missing husband. An unfaithful wife. A laundry-sniffing best friend. And by the way, who's in the bathroom? An oddly comic fable about the value of faith, the tender fragility of relationships, and the 'right' way to tell a bad joke. Just what happened to the husband is unclear, but a mysterious stranger is about to reveal all.
