A GREAT DAY OF SERVICE
The interfaith organization Beyond Our Walls (BOW) is gearing up for its 5th Annual Great Day of Service which will take place on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, 2009. The day will provide an opportunity for people of all ages to come together to work side-by-side, assisting agencies and organizations in need of community service through a work project. This year projects range from cleaning to painting at the Boys and Girls Club, to knitting prayer shawls and baby blankets in Barrington and Providence, to painting our Soup Kitchen site at St. Paul's, to creating care packages for service men and women stationed overseas, to spending quality time with Veterans in Bristol, and MUCH, MUCH MORE. Volunteers are asked to report to their work site by 9am. All projects will be completed by 1pm. Please visit www.greatdayofservice.com to learn more and get involved. SEEKING NOMINEES FOR "STUDENT LEADER OF THE MONTH"

The SAIL Office is accepting nominations on a rolling basis for this academic year's editions of the PC Student Leadership Digest. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SERVICE
Are you interested in service? Could you use some assistance with college expenses? Scholarships for Service is an AmeriCorps program in which students serve 300 hours over one year and earn $1,000 to be used toward education expenses such as tuition, education loans or graduate school. Apply now to be one of 22 students on campus to receive this award! AQUA-FITNESS CLASSES
Looking for a low impact high intensity cardio way to exercise? Deep water gym workouts are designed to work multiple muscle groups while toning and strengthening. Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30am. Buoyancy belts and instruction provided. Space is limited and you must be a member of the fitness center.
