To all students:

The wireless network on campus, known as PC-Secure, is available in every building on campus. However, in the following buildings, it is only available in limited areas:

Aquinas Hall – Study Lounge and the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies
Dore Hall – Study Lounges
Fennell Hall – Study Lounge
Guzman Hall – Study Lounge
Meagher Hall – Study Lounge
McDermott Hall – Study Lounges
McVinney Hall – Study Lounge
Raymond Hall – Study Lounges and Cafeteria
St. Joseph Hall – Basement Lounge

If you wish to connect to PC-Secure, you will need to properly configure your computer for it to work. Instructions are available at http://selfhelp.providence.edu/IT/Wireless/PC-Secure.

When connecting to PC-Secure, you will be required to have a username and password. This is your network username and password. Your network username is the same as the first part of your email address, the part before the @ symbol. The password depends on when you became a student at PC.

For all freshmen and transfer students who are new to the college this year, the password is the last 6 digits of your Banner ID.

For all students who started at the college prior to this semester, the password is the last password you had for the old email system before we made the switch.

For more information on wireless networking at Providence College, you can visit http://selfhelp.providence.edu/IT/Wireless.
